To the Johnson family and dear friends, we would like to express to you all our
deepest sympathy at this time of O`Neils departure from the stage of life.

The Good Lord has reserved a very special place at the front of " HEAVEN`S
SOULFUL CHOIR ".

As a member of THE INVITATIONS O`Neil was without doubt one of Soul music`s pioneer`s in helping to bring the ever so sweet harmonies of four very
talented young men to the shores of The United Kingdom, for that we are forever in your gratitude.

We were not fortunate enough to meet O`Neil. But along with Wilson aka Gary,
Robert, Alvin, & Richie we learned of his writing & vocal skills last year.
When THE INVITATIONS visited England. The Guy`s all spoke fondly of the love they shared for "DUKE " aka O`Neil .

His LEGACY will forever live in our hearts, we owe a debt of gratitude to the DJ`s who saw the potential in a song co-written with his dear friend Wilson
Gant, to have the foresight to "flip" a 7" inch piece of vinyl with the A side
being " For Your Precious Love " to make the world sit up to the sound of
" They Say The Girl Is Crazy ". To this day you should be proud to know this
tune continues to be played in dance halls across The United Kingdom.
